Katadyn Debuts BeFree 3.0L Filtration System

Minneapolis, Minn. (August 24, 2017) — Katadyn is proud to launch the new BeFree 3.0L Filtration System, the largest addition to its award-winning BeFree water filtration system line. The new BeFree 3.0L holds the most fluid ounces while providing the same rapid flow rate (read: 2-liters per minute) and unique shake to clean filter technology of its predecessors, the BeFree 0.6L and 1.0L.

Katadyn’s trusted filter technology safely removes up to 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa to EPA standards using the new 0.1-micron EZ-Clean hollow-fiber filter. The BeFree™ filter protects users from harmful organisms such as Cryptosporidium, Giardia, E-Coli and Salmonella.

The BeFree’s unique EZ-Clean Filter Membrane eliminates the need of backflushing, allowing users to simply shake (or swish) to easily clean the filter anytime, anywhere. With its Free Flowing Channel technology, the 0.1-micron microfilter provides a flow rate of 2-liters per minute.
