Katadyn North America Appoints Chris Voxland as President

30-year outdoor industry veteran Chris Voxland succeeds Shawn Hostetter as president of Katadyn North America; John Wright promoted to Vice President of Sales
ROCKLIN, California (November 1, 2021) / OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/– Continuing on a plan of measured growth, Katadyn North America appoints Chris Voxland as company president. An outdoor industry veteran with more than two decades at Katadyn, and most recently in the role of Vice President of Operations, Voxland will be stepping into the role of president to further the company’s mission and values of building product lines and managing sustainable growth in all markets.

Voxland succeeds Shawn Hostetter who has left Katadyn after a distinguished 20-year tenure to pursue an opportunity in the sporting goods industry and be closer to family.
In addition, Katadyn North America promotes seasoned sales professional and outdoor enthusiast John Wright to Vice President of Sales. Wright’s longstanding sales expertise will help to support the leadership transition.
A leading member of the Katadyn sales team since 2016, Wright has worked with key outdoor retail accounts and led volunteer teams to numerous post-hurricane disaster areas, deploying Katadyn group water purification solutions to provide safe water to those in need. Prior to working at Katadyn North America, Wright worked for outdoor brands, including Slumberjack, Filson, and Wisconsin Pharmacal.
As Vice President of Sales for Katadyn North America, Wright will continue to use his outdoor experience and enthusiasm to skillfully guide the company’s sales strategy during unrivaled times in the outdoor industry.
