Kitsbow Debuts the First Short Film in the 36 Hours Series for 2019
June 14, 2019
The first film in the series tells the story of a New York-based father-daughter pair, just in time to celebrate Father’s Day
PETALUMA, Calif.(June 14, 2019) — After accepting applications for the second-annual 36 Hours in Kitsbow film series, a program giving anyone the chance to showcase their favorite cycling adventure, Kitsbow is excited to debut the first of six short films.
“At Kitsbow we strive to fit it all in — work, family, and fun — and we are continually blown away by the unique stories people capture of their passion for cycling,” said David Billstrom, CEO of Kitsbow. “We’re confident that the 2019 series will inspire people and show them that you don’t have to wait. That their next adventure is right outside their front door.”
Leading off the series, “Escape From New York” is an homage to fathers and families, premiering just in time for Father’s Day.
“Ours is a film about family, so it’s only fitting that making it was a family affair,” said Jeff Pundyk, film creator. “The spirit of the film was meant to include our entire family, some who couldn’t participate and one who is no longer with us. Making the film as a family brought back all the good times we had together when the kids were growing up, so many summers ago.”
Kitsbow will be rolling out five more short films before the end of the year. To follow along on the adventure or learn how to get Kitsbow to sponsor your own short film, visit the Kitsbow website.
