Kitsbow Releases Polartec® Power Wool™ Collection

New base layer collection featuring Polartec® Power Wool™ bi-component knit fabric technology comes just in time for cool-weather riding.

PETALUMA, Calif. (Nov. 27, 2018) Expanding its line of premium bike apparel designed in partnership with Polartec, Kitsbow is excited to release the new Power Wool Performance Knicker, Tight, Arm Warmer and Knee Warmer, all of which are made locally in the U.S. The products are made of a new, compression version of Polartec® Power Wool™ fabric technology, a revolutionary, bi-component knit that combines the best of both natural and synthetic fibers, without blending them.

The unique, plated construction of Polartec Power Wool fabric places only soft, high quality merino wool next to skin where it creates a comfortable microclimate, moves moisture in a vapor state, and is naturally antimicrobial, while synthetic fibers on the outside enhance stretch, recovery, durability, and more effectively manage moisture.

Power Wool Performance Tight

Sometimes you need a tight over your legs for that cold weather ride, run or even outdoor yoga. Designed without a chamois, the Power Wool Performance Tight provides full coverage and compression for a range of indoor and outdoor activities — and can be worn over a base short

(Ventilated Base Short V2 or Origin Base Short) for the trail and over the Coleman Valley Bib Short for ripping gravel. MSRP: $199.00

Power Wool Performance Arm Warmer & Knee Warmer

Kitsbow’s classic arm and knee warmers have been upgraded with this new Power Wool technology, made for the riders that don’t stop when the temperatures drop. Polartec’s construction of 53 percent nylon, 26 percent spandex and 21 percent wool provides the warmth and durability needed for cool-weather riding. MSRP: $75.00
