New face mask design offers adjustable head straps for a more customized fit
Old Fort, N.C. (March 25, 2021) — Premium cycling apparel manufacturer Kitsbow, known for its craftsmanship and impeccable fit, today unveils its new Adjustable & Reusable Face Mask, HEPA Type with adjustable head straps for more versatile use such as cycling and hiking with an even better, more customized fit than before.
In March 2020, Kitsbow was among the first to commercially-produce reusable fabric face masks, and one of the very few to offer a HEPA-type filter for protection. One year into the COVID-19 pandemic, Kitsbow continues to refine its much-lauded face mask design to create the best, most comfortable fit with safety and protection in mind.
“We took the perfect fit of the Kitsbow face mask and made it even more versatile for the user with adjustable head straps,” explained David Billstrom, CEO of Kitsbow. “While vaccines are on the rise, so are new variants of the virus as well as an increased number of positive COVID cases throughout the country. Our proven mask design with a HEPA filter as the third layer is important for staying safe.”
The new Kitsbow Adjustable & Reusable Face Mask features a dual toggle system that allows you to wear the mask a couple different ways for maximized comfort. The top head strap can be worn higher on the head or it can be adjusted to wear lower on the back of the head.
“Think of a ball cap on a sunny day, – you can now wear the straps below the cap. Helmets, ponytails, and sunglasses can now enjoy a little more real-estate on your head with less interruption from straps,” Billstrom added.
This face mask comes with two replaceable HEPA-type filters. Replacement filter media for this face mask are also available for purchase directly from Kitsbow.
Designed for all-day comfort, the Kitsbow Adjustable & Reusable Face offers full coverage, an adjustable nose piece, and is available in three sizes to achieve a high-quality fit for each user. The new mask will retail for $29.95. Since last March, Kitsbow has shipped more than100,000 face masks throughout the U.S. Each Kitsbow mask is hand-sewn in Old Fort, North Carolina.
