LifeStraw Product Wins Great Design Award from Architectural Digest

October 20, 2021

Home Water Filter Pitcher recognized for best-in-class design

BALTIMORE (Oct. 20, 2021) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – LifeStraw®, an innovative, sustainable B Corp, focused on safe drinking water access around the world, today announced its Home Water Filter Pitcher is taking home a Great Design Award from Architectural Digest (AD). Twice a year, AD gathers all the products and inspiration needed to renovate a kitchen or bath in style. The Home Water Filter Pitcher was one of the products selected this fall.

“We are really proud to get the nod from AD on the design of the LifeStraw Home product.  It was important to us that we not only provide the best-in class technical filtration and protection, but that we also create something beautiful and sustainable that can belong in a well-designed kitchen and not just hidden in the back of a refrigerator,” said Alison Hill, CEO of LifeStraw”

Introduced in 2019, the Home Water Filter Pitcher boasts a sleek and sustainable design with BPA-free and glass options in 7-cup and 10-cup sizes. The pitcher improves the taste of water and eliminates the need to buy single-use plastic bottled water. Based on independent lab tests, the filter protects against more than 30 contaminants including bacteria, parasites, microplastics, lead, mercury, and chemicals including PFAS, often referred to as “forever chemicals”, chlorine, organic chemical matter like pesticides and herbicides, dirt, sand, and cloudiness.

Plus, each purchase of the pitch creates a ripple effect impact: one product, one child, one year of safe water. LifeStraw is  a proud B Corp and Climate Neutral Certified brand, committed to meeting the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
