May 3, 2017

Brighton, MA : Lift 23 Corp. is pleased to announce that in conjunction with its retail partner Summit Ski and Snowboard (located in Framingham, MA), it donated 1,900 pairs of LIFT23-designed socks to Cradles to Crayons. Ed Del Guercio, LIFT23’s President and Founder, personally delivered the socks to Cradles to Crayons.

LIFT23 is a premium sock company that donates a pair of socks—one of the most requested and least donated items—to children in need for every pair of ski/snow socks it sells. Originally conceived to provide socks to the more than 23,000 homeless children in New York City shelters, LIFT23 has partnered with key retailers to expand sock donations to more cities where LIFT23 socks are sold.

Cradles to Crayons provides children— birth through age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations in Greater Boston, Greater Philadelphia, and Chicago with the essential items they need to thrive—at home, at school, and at play. They supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities of abundance with communities that need.

“LIFT23 and Summit Ski and Snowboard’s generous donation of socks helps us further our mission and supports local kids by fulfilling some of a child’s critical basic needs,” said Michael Scottberg, Procurement and Inventory Control Associate at Cradles to Crayons.

“Our mission is to serve kids in need,” stated LIFT23 Founder Ed Del Guercio. “We are grateful for this opportunity to partner with Summit Ski and Snowboard to help fulfill that mission.”

“We are thrilled to partner with LIFT23 again to help the community by donating socks to an amazing and impactful organization like Cradles to Crayons,” said Leah Schiavoni, Summit Ski and Snowboard owner.
