Liv Cycling Introduces Enviliv Advanced Pro Disc Series

Designed and Built for Women, Liv’s New High-Performance Aero Road Bikes with Disc Brakes Deliver Ultimate Riding Experience

NEWBURY PARK, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2018) – Liv Cycling, the company dedicated to getting more women on bikes, today introduces its high-performance EnviLiv Advanced Pro Disc series. Designed for optimal speed, EnviLiv is a responsive road bike built with a lightweight but stiff advanced-grade composite frame and efficient AeroSystem tubing. It prioritizes aerodynamics and stiffness for an aggressive race geometry to allow maximum power transfer that propels riders faster than ever before.

“The EnviLiv Advanced Pro Disc is the evolution of the EnviLiv Advanced Aero Race Line and encompasses all of the elements riders are looking for in a high-performance road bike,” said Ludi Scholz, Liv global bicycle category manager. “With its lightweight, wind tunnel proven aerodynamic design that includes hydraulic disc brakes, a Shimano Di2 drivetrain and a new Giant dual-sided power meter crankset, this bike will allow cyclists to truly rule their ride.”

The EnviLiv Advanced Pro Disc series was built using Liv’s 3F Design Philosophy, which includes thousands of data points about women’s anatomy, sizing variations, and muscle energy and outputs. This data was used to build the series from the ground up specifically for women and create the ultimate riding experience. The geometry, dialed with feedback from team Sunweb pro riders, puts the rider in an aggressive, powerful and aerodynamic position. The EnviLiv Advanced Pro Disc cockpit, including integrated aero handlebar and stem, offers supreme stiffness and aerodynamics while complementing women riders with a narrower handlebar reach and drop. 

The Advanced Pro 0 and Advanced Pro 1 models include Shimano Ultegra Hydraulic disc brakes to deliver higher stopping power and greater control at faster speeds. The Advanced Pro 0 also includes a Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain, new Giant Power Dual-sided power meter crankset, and an adaptable 52/36 chainring. Liv also equipped this bike with an innovative wheelsystem, the Giant SLR 1 Aero 42F and 65R Disc WheelSystem with Giant patented Dynamic Balanced Lacing (DBL), optimizing the aerodynamics and stiffness of the moving wheels to create the most efficient full-bike build.
