KAVU’s brand of true outdoor wear continues APAC expansion, signing with distributor Himalaya Trading Co., Ltd. to anchor the brand in China.

SEATTLE – KAVU’s brand of true outdoor wear continues APAC expansion, signing with distributor Himalaya Trading Co., Ltd. to anchor the brand in China.

Born in the Pacific Northwest in 1993, KAVU is an outdoor lifestyle apparel brand and a philosophy.

It’s an acronym: Klear Above Visibility Unlimited. Founded by Barry Barr, a hike-up-fly-down human-powered flight junky, KAVU is shorthand for a perfect day and a way of life that revolves around doing what you love in nature’s playgrounds. These perfect days are known as KAVU days.

KAVU first launched in the APAC over 25 years ago and the expansion continues. “We are proud of our strong presence in Asia. The premium importer works with other outdoor industry veterans including Black Diamond, Outdoor Research, and Smartwool. The entire KAVU line can now be ordered by mainland Chinese retailers through Himalaya Trading Co., Ltd.
