Major Increase in Sales for Brooks-Range Mountaineering in 2016

San Leandro, Calif. (July 28, 2016) – Sales are on the rise for Brooks-Range Mountaineering in 2016, with a 28 percent increase in the first two quarters of the year. The winter season kick-started the growth thanks largely to driving sales from shelters and sleeping bags.

Available now, the Drift series sleeping bags, which have been a popular pick among mountaineers and weekend warriors alike, come in an array of temperatures ranging from -10 to 45 degree bags, all of which feature 850+ fill power DownTek®.

With performance features and practicality in mind, Brooks-Range will showcase a new sleeping bag series, available Spring 2017, at Outdoor Retailer: the Snooze, available in 35, 20 and 5 degree-options. The Snooze 20 is an excellent price to weight ratio; the 700-fill Goose Down bag is $300 and will keep you toasty down to 20 degrees.

With new products in the lineup for Spring 2017, including a new Polartec Alpha vest and pant, Jeff Blakely, Brooks-Range general manager, looks forward to what’s ahead.
