Matador’s New Boulder Headquarters Expands Brand’s Footprint and Capabilities

The new facility quadruples size of previous headquarters, with enhanced features for product development, operations and employee satisfaction

BOULDER, Colo. (June 22, 2022)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Matador Travel Equipment, the award-winning producer of high-performance travel equipment, is proud to announce the opening of its new headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. Located roughly one mile from the brand’s previous headquarters, the new facility offers approximately four times more square footage than its former office space, expanding the brand’s physical footprint as its sales continue to grow worldwide.

“We’re thrilled to move into the new facility and for all of the opportunities it will present,” said Chris Clearman, founder and CEO of Matador. “We’ll not only have more space for product development, content creation, community events and fulfillment, but we also have features like a climbing wall and skateboard ramp to keep the stoke high among employees and visitors. We can’t wait to see all the designs and stories that come out of our new home.”

The 8,000-square-foot headquarters will host Matador’s 14 in-house employees, with growth accommodations for a future staff of up to 40 employees. The facility features in-house photo studios, a product showroom, and expanded areas for operations and product development. Additionally, to boost employee morale and creativity, Matador has incorporated a climbing wall, skateboard ramp, ping pong table, barbecue deck, and bar and lounge.

Matador has been headquartered in Boulder since 2015, designing and developing products in-house with a team of passionate adventurers.
