Montana Knife Company Unveils its Ultralight “Stoned Goat” Fixed Blade

The brand combined design elements from its fan-favorite Stonewall Skinner and its best-selling Speedgoat blade to develop an ultralight, do-it-all fixed blade ideal for backcountry hunters and everyday carry enthusiasts alike.

Constructed with 52100 Carbon Steel, the durable Stoned Goat blade provides “ball bearing, tool strength steel,” as well as a Parkerized black finish that has been oil and cryogenically quenched to ensure longevity for years to come. The ultralight knife weighs in at just 1.9 oz (4.1 oz with the sheath) and features a 3.75” blade and an overall length of 7.75”. The workhorse field knife boasts an ergonomic handle that is wrapped in seven feet of USA made 550 paracord to assist users in an emergency working scenario.

Each Stoned Goat blade is paired with Montana Knife Company’s Signature Knife Sheath 2.0, which features a modular clip design and can be rotated 90 degrees allowing for a comfortable external carry. Additionally, the sheath features a tension screw for users to adjust the protective tension to their preference. Three holes on the top and bottom of the sheath allow users to tie paracord to attach to a pack or add aftermarket clips for a desired carry. A hole in the tip of the sheath allows for moisture to drain, making the blade easy to clean.
