As Mountainsmith celebrates its 40^th anniversary, the reintroduction of the Vision and Wisp are a nod to a long history—and future—of innovation. From the Backpacker Gear Guide to Outside Magazine’s prestigious Gear of the Year Award, the original bags received accolades from across the gear review industry. In 2019, the Vision 20 and Wisp 32 are built with the technology of tomorrow and the heritage of adventures past.   These products will debut at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market this month in Denver, CO (Booth #: 44080-UL). 

“In 2019, we return to sleeping bags with the Wisp 32 and the Vision 20, our most technical solutions to-date. The Flexibaffle™ construction in the 32F and 20F white goose down sleeping bags enables tight thermal efficiency while still allowing for the flexible freedom of movement otherwise found in more “relaxed” fit bags,” says Mountainsmith President, Jay Getzel. “Ranging from 1lb 13oz to 2lbs 9oz, they are built to be light without sacrificing comfort, warmth, and durability.”

Mountainsmith’s Sleeping Bag Collection features Hydrophobic Down Technology, mimicking the water resistance of synthetic bags while gaining the insulation, loft, and compressibility that only 800FP white goose down guarantees. Additionally, with Flexibaffle™ construction, the 800FP Goose Down is sewn into differential-cut box baffles with elastic stitching, enhancing the thermal efficiency and allowing for greater movement not commonly found in mummy-style sleeping bags. Both the Vision 20 and Wisp 32 come in Regular and Long torso sizing. These products will hit retailers nationwide in January 2019.

Wisp | MSRP: $259.95

For warmer summer nights, the Wisp 32 makes for a comfortable sleep without added weight. Built with water resistant, 800 fill down, the Wisp comes in at 1lb 13oz.
