Mountainsmith to Host 7th Annual “Backpacks and Brews” Benefit for American Alpine Club at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

Golden, CO (August 1, 2016) – Mountainsmith—craftsmen of iconic backcountry equipment and recreational outdoor gear—is toasting the American Alpine Club for the seventh year in a row at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.

The highly anticipated “Backpacks and Brews” Benefit will take place on Thursday, August 4^th from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Mountainsmith booth #20015.  Partygoers can crack open cold brews and score show-only deals on limited edition American Alpine Club Scream 25 packs, The Sixer soft-sided coolers and Cooler Tubes, all proceeds benefitting the American Alpine Club.

Limited edition American Alpine Club Scream 25 backpacks, The Sixer soft-sided coolers and Cooler Tubes will be sold for $40.00, $20.00 and $20.00 respectively (cash only). 200 packs will be sold in three waves at 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30. The action continues with a business card raffle at 5:30pm on Thursday. Show attendees can stop by the Mountainsmith booth any time Wednesday or Thursday to drop off their business card for a chance to win an AAC membership and Mountainsmith gear. Contestants must be present at 5:45 on Thursday to win.
