MSR® Launches Convenient, All-in-One Snowshoe Kit

SEATTLE, Wash. (January 22, 2018) – MSR® (Mountain Safety Research), the Seattle-based high-performance outdoor equipment brand, will be launching their first-ever snowshoe kit, complete with Evo Trail showshoes, DynaLock Trail backcountry poles, and a carrying bag. This all-in-one kit is great for spontaneous adventures and family recreation and will be debuted at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Denver, Colo. at the end of January.

“Snowshoeing is relatively safe and easy to approach compared to other winter sports such as skiing, climbing, and mountaineering,” said Sarah Courtney, MSR’s snowshoe and alpine tool division category manager. “With this new kit, we provide an all-in-one set up to make getting outside during the winter even easier.”

MSR has remained as the number one technical snowshoe brand since the debut of their Denali snowshoe 20 years ago, designed to provide mountaineers with a tool for safer travel. Within their comprehensive line of snowshoes, the Evo Trail is known for its legendary dependability and durability. The Evo Trail snowshoes are great for minimalists and recreationists on flat trails and rolling hills. These snowshoes are unisex, feature a UniBody Deck with integrated traction, a DuoFit binding, Classic Crampon and have a length of 22 inches.

Also included in the kit are MSR’s new aluminum DynaLock Trail Poles, featuring one DynaLock closure and 2-section adjustability. These new poles and locking closures are easy to use and offer rock-solid reliability for snowshoers, winter hikers and skiers alike. Finally, the easy-to-carry bag included in the kit is durable, lightweight, and features backpack straps for carrying the snowshoes and other contents. The simple and effective roll-top closure securely holds snowshoes and contents, and provides easy access for loading and unloading the bag. External hook and loop tabs carry one pair of snowshoe poles for added convenience.The entire kit is made in the USA out of U.S. and imported materials. MSRP: $199.95 USD
