Native Eyewear Announces New 2017-18 Snow Goggle Models

Preview New DropZone and Spindrift Models at Winter OR and SIA Trade Shows

Denver, Colo. (January 4, 2017) — Following the successful launch of Native Eyewear’s 2016-17 goggle collection the company is adding two new styles for the 2017-18 season. The new DropZone and Spindrift models are designed to perform for the backcountry enthusiast or weekend warrior and feature new interchangeable lens systems that complement the robust collection launched last season.

“The 2017-18 collection expands Native’s current goggle offering and gives our customers a high quality goggle line for all types of outdoor adventures,” said John Sanchez, General Manager at Native Eyewear. “The DropZone and the Spindrift include an easy lens change out system so customers can quickly adjust to changing light conditions on the mountain and in the backcountry so they can get back to enjoying their adventures rather than fiddling with their gear.”

About the DropZone and Spindrift

The new DropZone goggle includes a wide field-of-view, two interchangeable lenses, as well as a single button change-out feature that allows for one of the quickest exchanges in the industry. The Spindrift model includes a six-point interchangeable lens system on the outside of the frame that offers a wider unobstructed view. The DropZone and the Spindrift also include industry-leading, high-efficiency anti-fog coating that provides surface-based fog diffusion up to an astonishing eight minutes, compared to the industry standard of 30 seconds. This technology comes standard in all Native goggles.

In addition to these new style additions, 10 new colorways will be added to existing styles, including the Backbowl, Coldfront, Tank-7, Tenmile, and Upslope.

All Native goggles include SnowTuned lens technology which also features color-enhancing filtration that helps subtle colors and details of a snow-covered landscape appear livelier, while selective filters reduce eye fatigue from HEV light. Combine this with the multi-mirror, hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings, and you have long-lasting quality that will repel oils and water in any snow condition.

Additionally, all Native goggle frames are made out of a biodegradable castor-based resin material that provides one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios in the market and include a tapered nasal fit and hypoallergenic, fluted face foam that enhance airflow through the goggles even further, providing maximum comfort and clarity for every snow-filled adventure.
