New Adventure Boutique to Open in Boulder, CO

The new Go Far specialty retail shop designed to be experiential community hub for active lifestyle enthusiasts

BOULDER, COLO. (September 16, 2017) — Go Far, a new concept retail shop catering to an active lifestyle, will open on November 2, 2017 in Boulder, Colorado. Transcending the mold of traditional brick-and-mortar experience, this new adventure boutique will connect and inspire active enthusiasts with collaborative educational events, community “maker” weekends, demo nights, and advocacy events; a highly invested, knowledgeable in-store team; and in-store experiential shopping activities including a Superfeet + HP FitStation. The store will also have one of the largest assortments of Smartwool on the Front Range.

While the active lifestyle market continues to grow, the consumer’s expectations evolve. Go Far targets the consumer who has a two-pronged expectation from brands:

Designed to be an experiential community hub, the Go Far active lifestyle shop will provide consumers with a unique, exploratory shopping experience. The 2,522-square-foot, locally-owned store will feature a clean aesthetic and open layout created to foster community, conversation and collaboration between associates and consumers. The store will be home to Colorado’s only Superfeet + HP FitStation, a community center, with Smartwool as its premier brand.

Go Far will also feature one of the broadest assortments of Smartwool apparel and accessories available in the Rocky Mountain region.

“We could not be more excited to align with the Go Far retail concept that both serves the active outdoor community we so love and allows us to tell our full brand story in one place,” says Smartwool vice president of sales and marketing, Scott Bowers. “Collaborations with proven partners like Ken and team provide us with the opportunity to really showcase the broadest extent of our product offerings; especially our new Merino apparel and accessory items that are hard to find outside of our own website.”

The state-of-the-art Go Far Superfeet FitStation is one of only 12 in the country and is Colorado’s first. Utilizing 3D printing, the FitStation takes customization to a new level of personalized experience. Consumers will be able to find their perfect fit through both a 3D foot scan and complete gait analysis that provide insights into the shoes and insoles best suited for the nuances of an individual consumer’s foot shape and activity level. The new technology completely transforms the “shoe fitting” process by creating a truly one-of-a-kind, custom insole that will dramatically improve the fit of the shoe. The uniquely personal insoles are made in the U.S.A. and will be sold for $150.

Located at 2005 Pearl Street, the new store will have a soft opening beginning in mid-October 2017. The store will be open 10a-7p Monday – Saturday, and 11a-4p Sunday. Grand opening events are planned from November 2 – 4, 2017 from 4pm-6pm with raffle drawings, door prizes, athlete appearances and more.
