ARCATA, California — For 2019, Kokatat adds greater depth and breadth to its award-winning PFD offerings by introducing the Neptune PFD, a rugged and durable technical touring and sea kayaking life vest with all the comfort, durability, pockets and organization you will need for a day, weekend or month on the water.

The Neptune comes with a bevy of features that are both practical (like a stash pocket specifically designed for a folding knife) and driven by safety concerns (like reflective trim). It all adds up to a must-have piece of equipment for serious paddlers.

The Neptune’s articulated Gaia® PVC-free foam provides perfect fit and unprecedented comfort. All of the webbing adjustments are front and center for easy fitting. Featuring five fixed pockets and covered in high-tenacity rip-stop nylon, the front-entry Neptune comes with reflective accents on shoulders and back. The Neptune is hydration compatible and includes attachment points for knives and strobes. Price is $165.

The Neptune is available at select retailers and online. It is the newest addition to Kokatat’s lineup of PFDs that expanded in 2018 with the Naiad, Proteus and the Leviathan.
