The collaboration stems from the shared values and goals of Nocs and Cotopaxi, both dedicated to sustainability and focused on adding the colors and vibrancy of nature to the gear they craft. This bundle features Nocs’ go-to Standard Issue 8×25 waterproof binocular complete with top shelf optics and a rugged housing. That, plus a totally custom neck strap that highlights Cotopaxi’s dedication to prioritizing the use of sustainable materials.

The Nocs Provisions Standard Issue 8×25 is an affordable, high-quality, pocketable binocular built for the journey. It is IPx7 waterproof, submersible to 3 feet for 30 minutes, sealed with nitrogen to prevent fogging, and drop tested. The Standard Issue uses an emerald multi-layer coating that provides low flare broadband anti reflection for outstanding clarity. The prisms are Swiss designed Bak4 substrate for ultra crisp images at any time of day. Designed around an oversize eyepiece lens while using a central focusing system and twist-out eyecups, the optical experience is truly best in class for a binocular of this size. Further, the Standard Issue is designed for shooting smartphone photos through the eyepiece, as the Nocs serve as the equivalent of a 400mm camera lens.

The Woven Strap is built from Nocs Provisions normal template with leftover deadstock fabric that might have otherwise gone to the incinerator or landfill. In keeping with Cotopaxi’s commitment to circularity, choosing deadstock not only results in a colorful design, but also gives this strap an estimated 30% lower carbon footprint on average than if it were made from virgin fabric. Aside from the fabric, the strap utilizes Nocs’ standard strap ends and connectors.
