Nomadix Announces Climate Neutral Certification and Road Map to Sustainability

San Clemente, Calif. – April 22, 2022/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ –Nomadix, a social purpose corporation and makers of The Only Towel You Need®, made from post-consumer recycled plastics, is proud to announce that it is officially Climate Neutral Certified.

Nomadix joins the growing movement of brands achieving the Climate Neutral Certified standard by measuring its 2021 greenhouse gas emissions, purchasing eligible verified carbon credits to offset that footprint, and implementing plans to reduce emissions next year and beyond. In 2021, Nomadix offset 3,892 metric tons of CO2 emissions with the help of two partner organizations, BEF and Carbonfund.org to support renewable energy and forestry projects.

Today, Nomadix also announced the brand’s Road Map to Sustainability reflecting the brand’s commitment to further action toward positive environmental change. The Road Map includes three action items for change: reduce air freight shipping emissions by 50% in the next two years, transition to at least 50% renewable energy at Nomadix HQ office/warehouse, and remove 100% of virgin plastic from production.
