Oboz salutes John Connelly as he celebrates his final OR Show

Bozeman, Mont., (June 17, 2019) —After almost a half century in the Outdoor Industry, footwear stalwart and Oboz founder John Connelly is moving on to enjoy life after OR.  Join the Oboz family, footwear and industry friends on Wednesday, June 19 from 4 to 6pm in the Oboz booth (54081-UL) to toast John and send him off in style.

“John has had an amazing career, is a fantastic person, and I’m honored to try to fill his shoes,” said Amy Beck, Oboz Footwear president.

Throughout the show Oboz will be celebrating with Connelly and documenting his interactions with his industry friends which will be posted to Oboz social channels with the hashtag #toastalegend.

Oboz encourages attendees to do the same tagging photos posted of them toasting Connelly with #toastalegend.

Oboz will also be distributing limited edition stickers honoring Connelly.

Connelly sold the company to New Zealand outdoor and adventure travel company Kathmandu last spring.  Beck joined Oboz in April in preparation for Connelly’s departure.
