ORTOVOX Partners with New Sales Representative in Northeastern Territory

LONGMONT, CO – ORTOVOX, the world leader in avalanche safety and wool-based mountain wear since 1988, announced its partnership with Rand Whitney, principal of Alpin Sport Group in the Northeast territory, covering Maine to Maryland.
Whitney, a career outdoor industry professional based in Vermont, brings a wide range of experience, spanning from retail to vendor sales and buying groups. He joins Ortovox amidst steady sales growth and a consistent string of editor’s choice awards from national outdoor media outlets.

Whitney’s career in the outdoor industry started in 1993 as a buyer and retail manager in Pennsylvania. He’s worked with a range of brands including Mammut, High Sierra, Lowe Alpine, MSR, Crazy Creek and Lafuma/Millet.
In addition to Ortovox, Whitney currently represents Howler Brothers (howlerbros.com) and Deejo knives (www.deejo.fr) in the Northeast.
