Peak Design Celebrates Opening of NYC Retail Store with City Edition Travel Backpack

The iconic carry company to open its biggest location ever in Manhattan’s Nolita Neighborhood

NEW YORK, NY (October 28, 2022) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ Peak Design, the worldwide leader in crowdfunding and everyday carry solutions, is excited to announce the opening of its New York City Store on Friday, Oct. 28th at 11am ET. To celebrate their NYC launch, Peak Design is simultaneously releasing three limited-run City Edition Backpacks, only available in their brick-and-mortar locations.

Located at 241 Lafayette Street in NYC’s Nolita neighborhood, the store promises to act as a cornerstone of energy for local communities of creatives, commuters, outdoor folks and Peak Design fans. “It’s the third—and by far the biggest (and dopest)—retail space we’ve built, joining the ranks of San Francisco and Tokyo stores,” says Peak Design’s Director of Retail, Christine Zona.

To pay homage to the three dynamic cities that Peak Design now calls home, they’ve created a limited-edition 30L Travel Backpack featuring a moody ultra-durable MultiCam X-Pac™ Cordura^® shell. “These ‘City Edition’ bags aren’t just a new fabric and colorway,” Zona continues, “they feature a custom interior screen print specific to the city/store in which you purchase it. City Edition Travel Backpacks will only be available for purchase in-person at one of Peak Design’s three stores starting October 28th in the NYC and San Francisco stores and October 29th at the Tokyo store. Available while supplies last.

Peak Design’s Nolita location will foster an active, engaged dialogue with locals by hosting artist talks, workshops and gallery openings.
