Peak Ski Company Promotes Darrin Haugen to Senior Executive Leadership Position, Chief Product Officer

BOZEMAN, Montana, June 26, 2023/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Peak Ski Company announced today that Darrin Haugen has been promoted to the position of chief product officer. In April of 2022, Andy Wirth and Bode Miller, the company’s cofounders launched the Peak Ski Company. After a remarkably successful first year in operation, the Company has been advancing and refining its core leadership team as it comes into the 2023-2024 winter season and executes its long-term strategic plans.

Mr. Haugen has over 25 years of experience in design and engineering having worked with Boeing’s supersonic commercial airliner R&D program, then with K2 Sports where he led design and engineering on various product lines including K2 skis and boots, Line skis and Full Tilt ski boots. Most recently he was involved with advanced product research and design at Sitka Gear, a successful global outdoor company based in Bozeman, Montana. Darrin has undergraduate and master’s degrees in engineering from the acclaimed Montana State University College of Engineering. Haugen will report directly to Wirth and will maintain responsibility for all aspects of leading the company’s product, materials and process design and innovation and as a key member of the company’s executive leadership team, he will also play a central role in developing and executing the company’s strategic initiatives.
