Petzl Introduces BOREO Helmet for Multisport Adventures
July 25, 2017
The compact, lightweight helmet reinforces lateral, front and rear impact
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (July 25, 2017) – Petzl, the leader in lighting and verticality products, today introduced the BOREO: a durable, lightweight helmet designed for any adventure.
“The helmet defines versatility. It’s suitable for climbing, mountaineering, caving, via ferrata and canyoneering adventures,” said Ben Eaton, marketing manager for Petzl. “Thanks to its hybrid construction, the helmet is both compact and head-covering, making it the go-to choice for nearly any sport.”
The BOREO helmet’s hard outer shell is impact and scratch resistant for optimal durability. The compact helmet combines an EPP foam liner, around the helmet’s circumference, with EPS foam, at top of head, to save weight and reinforce against lateral, front and rear impact.
The soft headband conforms perfectly to the shape of the head and folds into the shell for storage and transportation. The BOREO comes equipped with four clips for headlamp attachment and is also compatible with the VIZION eye shield.
The BOREO costs $64.95 USD and will be available in January 2018. For more information, please visit www.petzl.com.
