RinseKit Experiences Rapid Growth After a Successful 2015
December 17, 2015
Multiple media awards, increased distribution and new hires position RinseKit for continued success in 2016
CARLSBAD, Calif. (Dec. 17, 2015) – RinseKit, makers of the revolutionary portable pressurized shower/clean up system, experienced a tremendous first year in business and is poised to continue its success into 2016.
Popular among surfers, fisherman, boaters, bikers, trail-runners, dog owners and festival enthusiasts, RinseKit is now available at over 930 retail locations, including: West Marine, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Cabela’s, Sport Chalet and Bass Pro Shops, and sold in 12 countries worldwide.
RinseKit has just relocated its headquarters to a new 7,500-square-foot office in Carlsbad, California to accommodate its growing team, including Trey Van Buskirk as Wholesale Marketing Manager and Hannah Kelly in customer service.
Over the course of 2015 the versatile and reliable “hose-to-go” impressed journalists at trade shows across the country. Both Outside Magazine and Gear Junkie named RinseKit “Gear of the Show” at this year’s Outdoor Retailer Summer Market. At the fishing industry’s prominent International Convention of Allied Sportfishing (ICAST) show, RinseKit received accolades and was named the best new product of 2015. In addition to the trade show awards, National Geographic Adventure and 50 Campfires named RinseKit “Gear of the Year.”
RinseKit also was recognized by California State Park officials as a “water conservation device” during the peak of the state’s drought earlier this year. RinseKit partnered with the state to promote the use of the product in place of inefficient beach showers that were turned off during the summer.
“It’s been amazing to watch this invention gain acceptance with such a wide range of consumers and the media,” said Chris Crawford, founder of RinseKit. “We are extremely proud to have been recognized for our efforts and are feeling confident that this momentum will carry into the New Year.
RinseKit, which can now be filled with hot water from a sink by utilizing its “Sink Adaptor” accesory, will launch a “Field Fill” kit in spring 2016 that will enable users to re-fill and pressurize their RinseKits without the use of a spigot.
Attendees of Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2016 are encouraged to see the product and its new accessories for themselves at booth number 31005E.
