July 17, 2018
Terra Bella, CA (July 17, 2018) Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Inc.- the nation’s second largest pistachio grower and processor based in California’s Central Valley- was awarded the 2018 Reader’s Choice Award for Best Agriculture Business by the Porterville Recorder.
The annual awards, hosted by the local newspaper Porterville Recorder, are an all-inclusive award program that allows residents to vote for their favorite businesses in the area. Porterville locals were asked to nominate their favorite businesses including entertainment, dining, professional services, and retail. Once the Porterville selection committee chose the finalists, locals were asked to vote for their favorite business once a day throughout the month of June.
“We are flattered that the people of Porterville have awarded us this title for the fourth time,” said Setton Farms COO Mia Cohen. “We are continuously working to give back and better our home town, so it’s inspiring to see that this effort is appreciated by the community. This award is such an honor, we are so grateful.”
