Sherpa Adventure Gear Unveils Spring 2020 Line

Modesto, CA June 14, 2019 – Sherpa Adventure Gear, the socially-conscious company specializing in technical travel apparel, has revealed details for its Spring/Summer 2020 line. The line is crafted using innovative, sustainable technologies to create purposeful gear for the global adventurer.

“This season we focused our efforts on providing versatile travel pieces that maintained our high-durability standards with low environmental impact,” said Kelsie Costa, CEO of Sherpa Adventure Gear. “We’re thrilled to announce our Kiran collection, which features a new hemp blend that combines an incredibly soft hand with one of the world’s most durable, sustainable textile.”

The Kiran collection features a blend of hemp, Tencel® and spandex. The collection offers a variety of pieces from tanks, long sleeves, shorts, skirts and dresses. Hemp is easily grown in harsher conditions with poor soil quality and grows quickly, making it a sustainable, water conserving fabric. Hemp is also naturally antimicrobial and moisture wicking and breathable – crafting the practical travel piece.

Sherpa’s new Mausaum pant for women is a versatile piece that features a pocket drawcord ruched option, allowing for an adjustable pant length and a clean finished look and a zippered security pocket for valuables The nylon spandex fabric of the Mausam collection also boasts Polygiene® technology that reduces odor-causing bacteria for extended wear.

The new Avani Collection features a spandex and polyester blend with Polygiene® odor control technology, making it the perfect trail-to-town collection. With added features of a UPF rating of 50+ and hidden zippered security pockets on certain silhouettes within the collection round out the styles feature-rich benefits. Sherpa’s Himalayan heritage is showcased in the jacquard pattern inspired by local woven textiles native to Nepal.

For every product purchased, a donation is made to the Sherpa Adventure Gear Fund, which is a designated non-profit organization that provides educational opportunities for future generations of Nepali students. The endowment that now supports 12 students from remote mountain villages with educational scholarships for elementary school through college.
