Snow Angel Blends Fashion and Function, Introduces New for Fall 2018 Women’s Base Layer Collection

New collections join updated classics, offering new fabrics, bold colors and fun patterns to create the most stylish and functional Snow Angel assortment yet

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Snow Angel, makers of a complete line of base and mid-layers designed for women, by women, moves into its 20^th year with a focus on fitting women with highly functional and fashionable base layers that feel good and look great for fall 2018.

The brand new for fall 2018 Black Denim, Century, Gravity and Viva collections will join the updated Minx, Reversibles, Chami, Veluxe and Cybersilk lines to provide women with the most comprehensive selection of performance base layers yet.

Brand new for 2018 and designed as crossover pieces, the Black Denim, Century and Gravity collections are supremely versatile, transitioning easily from the slopes to après to a night on the town.

Black Denim uses traditional cross-dyed twill knitting in black/grey and adds a generous amount of Lycra^® for a fabulous fit. Styles include Zip-Ts ($130) with thumbholes for extra warmth and Leggings with the SlimR waist ($90) that rises to the natural waistline for extra coverage and comfort.

The Century and Gravity collections feature jacquard knits with Spandex in new, style-forward patterns. Offered in Leggings with the SlimR waist design ($80), Zip-Ts ($130), a Full Zip Vest ($160) and Short Cover-Up ($65) that is perfect over a pair of leggings, these collections perfectly blend style and performance.

Following the success of our Angel Modal boxed base layer, we are expanding our modal collection to include the brand new Viva base layer line. Using a heavier fabric for more warmth, Viva is ideal for cold weather pursuits. With an amazing hand feel, Viva is offered in a Scoop Neck Top ($80), Zip-T (with silver tipped coil zipper; $120), a Roll Down Turtleneck Top ($100) and our Flatter Fit Legging ($80).

Updated for fall 2018, the Minx collection is even more cozy and warm thanks to two new textured fabrics that add richness and depth to this best seller. The textured fleece Honeycomb fabric and the Melange dobby knit will each feature in the Snuggle Scarf Zip Top ($110) and Full Zip Snuggle Vest ($150).

Snow Angel’s Reversible Prints collection is also getting an update for fall 2018. Two new prints include the warmer tone Kattilac and cooler tone Aerial patterns. The Scoop Neck Tops ($90) and Zip-Ts ($110) reverse from solid black bodies with patterned panels under the arms to patterned bodies with solid black panels under the arms for an added slimming look. The Flatter Fit Leggings ($90) are printed on one side and solid black on the other side with multi color topstitching.

The core collections of Chami ($70-$105), Veluxe ($65-$100) and Cybersilk ($50-$55) will be updated as well with new color palettes. Chami will be offered in Siren Red, True Blue, jeweled Cool Mint, Aqua and Mystic Plum. Veluxe will be updated to include Cool Mint, Aqua and Mystic Plum. Cybersilk will see Aqua and Siren Red join the line. New contoured “shape” seams on the back of the Scoop Neck and Turtle Neck Tops provide an improved fit while the popular Universal Zip-T in our Chami collection adds seam design details and Copper to its color zipper option for solid black. Veluxe offers a new Zip-T with silver metallic zipper and topstitching.

Cybersilk, Snow Angel’s lightest weight base layer, will also be offered with a fun Peek-A-Boo fabric ($60-$90) to expand the crossover possibilities and add more personality to base layer dressing and beyond! This version will be slightly brushed on the back to give a little warmer feel. Look for the little Peek-A-Boo Scoop Neck Top for a little peek.

The complete Snow Angel collection will debut to the outdoor and winter sports industry at the Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show in Denver on January 25, 2017 in booth #39081-UL (upper level).
