Brand Allocates Run of Chilkoot 32º Quilts to Multiple Mission-Driven Partners
Bozeman, MT (November 8, 2022)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Stone Glacier, a leading manufacturer of premium outdoor equipment, today announced it has donated an entire quality control sample run of its popular Chilkoot 32º down insulated quilt to multiple non-profit organizations.
Dedicated to improving its products and business practices, Stone Glacier consistently works alongside its manufacturing partners to produce the best products in the most efficient way possible. Upon creating a new manufacturing process, Stone Glacier has committed to donating a full quality control test run of its Chilkoot 32º Quilt—a highly packable, lightweight, down insulated sleeping bag—to multiple non-profit partners. The receiving organizations include, Heroes and Horses, Big Sky Bravery, Task Force Heroes, Raise ‘Em Outdoors, Raised at Full Draw, and the Rocky Mountain Goat Alliance.
“We’re very proud to support non-profit organizations with missions that our company aligns with,” said Jeff Sposito, President at Stone Glacier. “This product donation is made possible by our trusted manufacturing and materials partners that share our goal to constantly improve and produce the best outdoor goods possible. We’re confident that the donated quilts will be used to support and provide memorable outdoor experiences for many deserving individuals.”
With an emphasis on efficiency, Stone Glacier worked alongside one of its manufacturing partners, MK Global, as well as its materials partners Pertex, Asia Fit, Allied Feather + Down, and YKK Corporation, which donated a supply of fabrics, down insulation, and zippers for the sample run of quilts. The sample allotment of Chilkoot 32º Quilts are completed with similar materials to Stone Glacier’s production quality equivalent but vary in color and finished trims.
“We are incredibly grateful to be included in the generosity of Stone Glacier through its outstanding products,” said Jeremy Keller, President at Big Sky Bravery. “The items donated have provided a more comfortable and successful camping experience for the active duty Special Operations Forces we serve. The individuals that use them are those who sacrifice everything for our country and ask for nothing in return. We’ve heard time and time again how taken aback our recipients are that a company as well known and as highly respected as Stone Glacier cares so much about the work they’re doing. As a non-profit with a mission to give back to those on the front lines, it is an honor to have the support of a company that genuinely cares about the work we’re doing and those we do it for.”

About: Stone Glacier manufactures premium outdoor equipment, most notably backpacks, tents, sleeping bags, and technical apparel. Stone Glacier products are the result of 15 years of solo sheep hunts from the Dall country of Alaska to the unlimited districts of Montana’s Beartooth Wilderness. Minimizing pack and gear weight increases usable load, which in turn extends your range in the backcountry. Stone Glacier’s quest for ultralight backpacking gear began 15 years ago and has been a slow and organic process of development, testing, and refining. The brand’s goal has been straightforward: build the lightest, most durable gear using only the toughest technical materials available. After hundreds of miles of testing on the trail, years of research and design, this goal has been accomplished. Stone Glacier—redefining the capabilities of ultralight.
