Tread Labs Joins The Conservation Alliance
July 28, 2021
WOBURN, Mass. — Tread Labs is thrilled to announce that they’ve joined the Conservation Alliance, further putting into action the commitment to preserving the outdoors that they’ve held since creating the brand in 2015. Tread Labs’ founder, Mark Paigen, is an outdoor industry veteran and as such knows the importance of conservation, not only for the health of the natural world, but also for the health of his business. “After I founded Chaco we joined the Conservation Alliance and were active members during my whole tenure at the company,” says Paigen. “Joining again with Tread Labs was a no-brainer, and a natural fit for the brand. I’m looking forward to what we can accomplish together.”
The Conservation Alliance, which provides grants to organizations protecting wild places and engages in strategic advocacy, relies on its business partners both for funding and help with grant disbursement. “We are excited to welcome Tread Labs into our coalition of brands working together to protect wild places,” said Conor McElyea, Program Manager at The Conservation Alliance. “Under Mark Paigen’s leadership, Chaco became one of our most engaged members and we look forward to building a similar relationship with him and his team at Tread Labs.”
By joining the organization Tread Labs hopes to reaffirm its commitment to environmental sustainability. Additionally, Tread Labs has recently supported organizations whose missions are to aid healthcare workers and BIPOC communities.
