UCO Goes ECO with New Mess Kits

Seattle-based brand expands popular messware lineup with kits made from recycled plastic

Seattle, WA – August 4, 2021 – UCO has been crafting quality outdoor gear since 1971. In 2019, the brand debuted UCO Ware, a line of mess kits and utensils for the modern explorer. In their continuing commitment to embrace more sustainable practices and materials, they will debut their all-new ECO 5-Piece Mess Kit–made from post-consumer and post-industrial plastic waste–at Big Gear Show and Outdoor Retailer Summer Market.

The all-new ECO 5-Piece Mess Kit is made from Recover Recycled™ Polypropylene. Like UCO’s prior mess kit designs, it features a sealed locking lid, matching spoon and bowl radius, the clever 4-in-1 ECO Switch Spork Utensil Set, and a versatile shock cord tether. Unlike prior mess kits, the ECO 5-Piece Mess Kit features a locking tab on either end to keep the contents secure. A great option for picnics, car camping, RVs, or even packing lunch for work or school, the kits are also microwave and dishwasher safe. The ECO 5-Piece Mess Kit will be available in September with an MSRP of $29.99.
