UltrAspire Athlete, Amanda Basham, Receives Podium Finish at the UTMB Series

Amanda secures 2nd place at the CCC
The UTMB trail running event is a series of 7 impressive races that span a total of 7 days and take place at the base of the Mont-Blanc in Europe. The CCC is one of the 7 events. The CCC begins in Courmayeur, Italy, passes through Switzerland and ends in Chamonix, France, for a total of 101km.
UltrAspire Elite, Amanda Basham, is an endurance coach and athlete. She has an impressive track record with a 1st place female finish at the Tushar’s 70k mountain run in July and a 3rd place female win at the Tarawera 50k earlier in 2019. In2017 and 2018 she placed 1st at the Ultra Race of Champions 100k nd has run Western States and Run Rabbit Run, among other accomplishments.
Amanda finished the CCC with a time of 12:27:06, clinching 2nd place in Chamonix. Regarding her run during the CCC, Amanda said, “We all just want to challenge ourselves and push our limits. For whatever reason there is extreme satisfaction in putting it all out there on race day and getting to that finish line. This race was no exception.” Amanda has had a fantastic 2019 and we look forward to seeing her hit her goals in 2020.
