VARGO Introduces KaTi Series Knives

The name “KaTi” is derived from the Japanese word “katai,” which translates to “hard.” The knives in this series feature a special titanium alloy blade that is not only exceptionally hard and durable, but also rust and corrosion-resistant. With a Rockwell Hardness of approximately 50 to 52 (HRC), the KaTi Series knives are designed to make food prep and camp chores easier.

“Traditionally, carrying an ultralight knife meant having one with a small, delicate blade. But not anymore,” says Brian Vargo, President, and CEO of VARGO. “With the KaTi Series knives, you get a full-size knife for a fraction of the weight of a comparably sized steel one.”

The KaTi Series knives currently come in two models: a fixed-blade knife with a separate kydex sheath and a folding knife with a carbon fiber handle. Both knives feature VARGO’s signature handle, made with quality materials.
