Vasque Official Footwear Partner of 5Point Adventure Film Festival

Red Wing, MN – April 11, 2016 –  Adventure films motivate people to get outdoors, push their limitations and perhaps do something they’ve never done before. Vasque is proud to support this adventurous spirit by partnering with the inspiring and unexpected, 5Point Adventure Film Festival in Colorado this month. Entering its ninth year, the four-day film festival showcases inspirational adventure films with guest speakers, art performances, family activities and other unique events to get attendees engaged and outdoors. 

Friday night of the festival, Vasque will be presenting the premiere of the film, Ace and the Desert Dog, a film about a 60-day walkabout in Utah that Ace Kvale and his dog, Genghis Khan, embarked upon for Ace’s 60^th birthday. A collaboration by Brendan Leonard, Forest Woodard and Stefan Hunt, the film pays homage to the strength of the human-dog connection in the great outdoors. To celebrate the premier, Vasque will also be hosting a hike on Saturday with Ace Kvale and Genghis Khan, from the Desert Dawg Adventure Blawg, and film director and producer Brendan Leonard. Attendees can demo a pair of Vasque’s Inhaler II’s on the hike.

The 5Point Film Festival will be held in Carbondale, CO, April 21 – 24, 2016.
