Wondery and Touchstone Climbing Announces Second Annual Climb With Pride Event Sponsored by Chaco

Inclusive Climbing Fundraiser to Engage, Support LGBTQ+ Community

May 31, CHATSWORTH, CA /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ –  Wondery, the outdoor lifestyle brand on a mission to empower women in the outdoors, announces its second annual Climb With Pride event to celebrate Pride month and support LGBTQ+ communities. Chaco sandals has signed on as the presenting sponsor, welcoming climbers of all abilities to join the festivities. Over 200 attendees celebrated with Wondery last year, with more expected this June 3rd at The Post, a Touchstone Climbing gym in Pasadena.

This year, 100% of day pass sales and raffle revenue will be dedicated to Queer Crush, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safe and inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ climbers. Queer Crush supports diverse in their gender, romantic, and sexual orientations who seek healing, health, community, and connection through climbing Through advocacy, education, and over 25 monthly meetup locations across California and Washington (sometimes international), Queer Crush is on a mission to Queer the Crag!

Wondery’s Climb with Pride event features a variety of adventure challenges, climbing clinics, and an outdoor gear raffle from brands including Patagonia, Goodr, Mountain Hardwear, Metolius, Black Diamond, and Acopa. It will also again highlight an LGBTQ+ owned marketplace with food vendors and apparel to further promote and support local queer-owned businesses.
