Yeti Discloses Mystery Ranch Acquisition Price

Yeti acquired Mystery Ranch, known for its durable load-bearing backpacks, bags, and pack accessories, for $36.2 million. The deal closed on February 2.

Yeti also acquired Butter Pat Industries, a manufacturer of cast iron cookware, in the first quarter. In the first-quarter earnings call last week, Matt Reintjes, Yeti’s president and CEO, reiterated that the main driver behind both acquisitions is to further expand Yeti’s capabilities in the bags and cookware categories, supporting growth for the flagship Yeti brand.
