October 31, 2018
Farm to Feet to recognize Denver, Bozeman, and North Conway communities with socks.
Mt. Airy, North Carolina — Farm to Feet, makers of 100% American socks, has always celebrated the communities associated with the brand by naming its socks after hometowns of its partners, athletes, and supply chain. For Fall 2019, Farm to Feet is introducing the Outdoor Community Collection of hiking socks that celebrates communities whose heart is rooted in the outdoors.
The three locations selected for the launch of the Outdoor Community Collection are Denver, Bozeman, and North Conway.
“These three communities stand out for their strong outdoor spirit and commitment to fostering outdoor recreation,” said David Petri, Farm to Feet Marketing VP.
Denver, the home of the Outdoor Retailer and Grassroots Connect shows, has long been the gateway city to Colorado’s great outdoors. Today, Denver boasts its own thriving outdoor community and supports miles of local trails including the 66-mile Highline Canal trail that stretches from Cherry Creek to Chatfield Reservoir.
North Conway, in the center of New Hampshire’s white mountains, is a year-round outdoor destination. Located at the base of Mt. Washington, New England’s highest peak, North Conway offers amazing access to hiking, biking, climbing and boating opportunities in the summer and alpine, Nordic, and backcountry skiing in the winter.
Bozeman is renowned for its access to some of the best hiking, skiing, and fishing in the country. Home to outdoor brands Oboz footwear and Simms Fishing Products, Bozeman has been synonymous with the outdoors and has promoted a culture and economy driven by the outdoors.
Each Outdoor Community Collection style, part of the Farm to Feet trail series, is made with ultra-soft, 19.5-micron US merino wool on a 200-needle knitting machine. They feature a half density cushioning foot-bottom and will each be offered in lightweight 3/4 crew with the Denver also offered in 1/4 crew and low heights and a heavier version for colder months.
As with all Farm to Feet socks, the Outdoor Community Collection styles all feature a seamless toe closure and are made completely with US materials via a transparent US supply chain. The Denver, Bozeman, and North Conway will range in price from $17 to $23 depending on height and weight.
Farm to Feet will debut the Outdoor Community Collection at the 2018 OR SHOW in Denver, CO November 8-11.
