Geartrade donates $2000 from Independence Day weekend sales to reproductive rights and women’s advocacy groups

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (July 13, 2022)/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Geartrade (geartrade.com), the UnNew marketplace, is donating $2000 from Independence Day weekend sales to reproductive rights and women’s advocacy groups, prompted by the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Geartrade, based in Utah, sees the direct effect of the supreme court decision in its backyard and is working to better align it’s love for the unmatched mountains, deserts, and outdoor spaces of the state with participation in the local political landscape.

Donations went to The Center for Reproductive Rights (reproductiverights.org); Planned Parenthood (plannedparenthood.org); The League of Women Voters (lwv.org); and SheJumps (shejumps.org).

The donation commitment was based on a percentage of total sales over the holiday weekend, and was announced to their community on July 1 via newsletter, social media, and the Geartrade blog.
