/OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Joining the MT2A Pro in the model line up, this new single cell version features a smaller form factor/size, yet is still more than powerful enough for an EDC carry.

Dual power sources are available with a supplied higher capacity 14500 Li-ion battery (with USB-C charging built in). Now rated to 1100mAh thanks to improved battery technology, it can last as long as 10 hours on the lowest output of 50 lumens, giving all night use. Users can also use normal 1.5V AA batteries (single use or rechargeable)

3 Power levels are available with the Li-ion battery 800 lumens, 300 lumens, and 50 lumens, with 2 levels using a 1.5V cell, 200 lumens and 50 lumens.

You can tail stand the flashlight, or you can use the two way clip to attach it to items such as belts/bags, and backpacks or pockets.

Nitecore use their deeper groove knurling on the body for comfort and grip, with aluminium alloy body materials, HAIII hard coating protection, and it’s been tested to 2 metres water submersion (IP68) and drop tested to 2 metres. Users should have no concerns using the flashlight even in harsh and difficult weather conditions.

Ideal for a pocket EDC carry it’s just 93mm x 19.7mm (length x head diameter) with a weigh of only 32g (no battery)

Despite the smaller size Nitecore have kept the range comparable to the larger version, and it can hit up to 250 metres at 800 lumens output, which is quite impressive for such a small body flashlight. Thanks in part to the smooth reflector and crystal coating for maximum light transmittance through the glass cover.

Moving over to the NiteLab LEDs has ensured improved performance, heat management, higher candela and longer run times.

A single tail switch has simplicity in mind for quick operation, with a full press On/Off and half press to cycle the modes and levels. A Memory function is included too so it will return to the last setting used.
