Smith Announces New Snow Product & Marketing Managers

PORTLAND, Oregon (December 19, 2024) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – Smith – global market leader in snow goggles and helmets and industry innovator across bike helmets, sport, lifestyle, and prescription eyewear – is excited to announce two new additions to its snow marketing and product teams. Grady Skelton joins the brand as Global Snow Marketing Manager working collaboratively with Kevin Wonnacott in his new role as Snow Category Manager.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Skelton is an avid snowboarder with over 15 years working in brand marketing strategy, CPG marketing, and creative content development. He spent over six years at Rome Snowboards, where he managed national and international marketing efforts as a campaign strategist and content producer. In recent years, Skelton served as Sr. Creative Brand Manager for 10 Barrel Brewing Co. (Anheuser-Busch) where he focused on innovative and disruptive marketing techniques to engage consumer base, build community and improve brand loyalty. He brings his infectious personality and honed skill set to Smith where he’s focused on increasing awareness, driving growth and fostering continual creative evolution while remaining true to the brand DNA. Wonnacott joins Smith with an extensive background in the snow industry with roles in Sales, Marketing, and Product & Merchandising at companies including Salomon, Berghaus, and Montaine. Most recently, Wonnacott served as Sr. Global Product Line Manager for Men’s Outerwear at Columbia Sportswear for the last six years. He brings his vast experience of technical products across the snow sports category and passion for snowsports to his new role at Smith, where he’ll oversee the helmet product line manager role while working under the Product & Merchandising team. Growing up in Oregon, Wonnacott is a lifelong skier who enjoys weekend laps with friends, summer adventures hiking and camping with his partner and two dogs: Hubert and Sparkle, and biking around town throughout the year.
