The showcasing product is the R1 Bluetooth Integrated Road Cycling helmet featuring Bluetooth 4.1 technology. Easily pairing with smartphones to hear GPS directions, listen to music, take phone calls, and even hear instant feedback and cues from fitness apps monitoring stats such as speed, cadence, and heart rate without distraction. The R1’s integrated Group Intercom system also allows users to talk via intercom with up to three other riders over a half-mile distance.

Sena will be offering demos of their Bluetooth and HD camera technologies, including its new R1 smart cycling helmet from coast-to-coast this Fall.

Featuring the new Cycle Volta eBike Pavilion, showcasing the capabilities of electric mobility at the 2019 American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) in Columbus, Ohio, Sena is the exclusive bicycle helmet sponsor of the Cycle Volta e-bike demo area and will be offering R1 smart helmet demos for the whole family in tandem with the corral of OEM E-bicycles in the demo ride area.

All rides will feature rest stops with refreshments and will finish up back at Societe. Sena will be on site displaying and demoing the R1 smart helmet so Bikes and Beer riders can have a little taste of what it’s like to #RideConnected.
