Merrell Names Alex Brown as Vice President of U.S. Sales

ROCKFORD, Mich. (April 20, 2020) —  Merrell has announced the appointment of Alex Brown to the position of Vice President of U.S. Sales reporting directly to Merrell’s global brand president, Chris Hufnagel.

Alex joins Merrell after having spent his entire career in the outdoor and active lifestyle industry, most recently serving as Senior Sales Director for The North Face®, a division of VF Corp. Prior to that, he founded and managed his own sales and marketing agency, and previous to that had senior sales roles with Pearl Izumi® and Playmakers – one of the nation’s premiere run specialty retailers.

Born and raised in Merrell’s home state of Michigan and a graduate of Michigan State University, Alex and his wife, Jesica, reside in west Michigan with their three sons.  Alex is an avid hiker, mountain biker, and snowboarder – he and his family spend much of their time recreating in the outdoors in the Midwest and beyond.
