Meet Jennifer Pharr Davis at the Farm to Feet booth at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

Mt. Airy, North Carolina (July 14, 2017) — Farm to Feet, makers of 100% American socks, will be hosting celebrated long-distance hiker and author Jennifer Pharr Davis at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market in Salt Lake City, UT, July 26-29.  Davis will be signing copies of her most recent book, Families on Foot, in the Farm to Feet booth (BR315) from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, July 26, and Thursday, July 27.

With each purchase of Families on Foot, Farm to Feet will include a pair its hiking socks.  Proceeds from the sales will go to support the Appalachian Trail Conservancy.

“Jennifer is an amazing ambassador for the outdoors and for Farm to Feet,” said David Petri, Farm to Feet’s VP of Marketing.

In 2011 Pharr Davis was recognized with National Geographic’s Adventure of the Year Award following her record breaking thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.  She joined the Farm to Feet’s Global Ambassador Team earlier this year and helped launch its Mountains-to-Sea trail collection at the annual Gathering of the Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail this past March.

Beginning in late August Davis will spend three months hiking the length of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail with her family.  Along the way she will be hosting events and hikes with Farm to Feet retailers and outdoor groups.
