June 6, 2024

OSLO, NORWAY (2024) /OUTDOOR SPORTSWIRE/ – This June 2024, Helly Hansen, the technical outdoor brand trusted by professionals around the world, celebrates its third edition of Open Mountain Month – an initiative with the goal to inspire and enable people to get outdoors. Starting the first of the month, a series of activations, events, and content will encourage seasoned outdoor-goers and novices alike to experience the power of spending time in nature.

This season, Helly Hansen is teaming up with its partner mountain resorts, professional mountain guides and search and rescue teams to share their favorite spots on the mountain. Through inspiring content, guided hikes and more, the brand’s professional partners will venture outside together with their local communities, encouraging them to explore their favorite spots and how life-enhancing it can be to spend time outdoors.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing back the Open Mountain Month initiative this June,” said Joumana Løvstad, Chief Marketing Officer at Helly Hansen. “Now in its third edition, we want to continue to foster this authentic connection between our audiences and our professional partners, knowing that this connection enables people to truly stay and feel alive in the outdoors. We look forward to celebrating this initiative around the world and hope we can inspire outdoor enthusiasts everywhere to find their next favorite spot on the mountain with us.”

Since the initial launch of Open Mountain Month in summer 2023, the initiative has brought together professionals and communities through in-person events worldwide, across five countries.
