Chaco and Howler Brothers Launch Limited Edition Collaboration

ROCKFORD, Mich. (June 19, 2017) Chaco footwear and Howler Brothers apparel, two outdoor lifestyle brands with a shared passion for the water, have teamed up to launch an exclusive collection of products perfect for summer adventures. The Chaco x Howler Brothers capsule includes a limited edition run of co-branded sandals, shirts, a hat and swim trunks.

“Like sand and sea, fish and tacos, or tequila and limes, it’s hard to imagine two brands that go together better than Chaco and Howler Brothers,” said Chaco brand manager Josh Weichhand. “This collab was born out of mutual respect and brand admiration, and we’re really pleased with the results.”

The capsule collection features iconic Chaco Z sandals and Chaco flips with a unique, camouflage webbing, specially designed in conjunction with the team at Howler. The collaboration also includes board shorts, a cotton t-shirt, a printed camp hat and a patterned button-snap tech shirt made from a nylon-poly blend fabric with engineered stretch.

“Chaco and Howler Brothers were both founded by people inspired to bring design and innovation to the outdoors,” said Rick Wittenbraker, chief marketing officer at Howler Brothers. “We share a love for the water and time spent outdoors, making this a natural partnership and fun collaboration.”

The Chaco x Howler Brothers collection will be available at select retailers and online at Chacos.com and HowlerBros.com starting Monday, June 19. The two brands will also be co-hosting a launch party on Tuesday, June 20 in Austin, Texas at the YETI Flagship store.
