Chaco Partners with Cabin-Time to Celebrate Art in the Outdoors

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Oct. 2, 2017) – Chaco, the iconic outdoor lifestyle footwear brand, announced today a partnership with Cabin-Time, a roaming creative residency to remote places. A behind-the-scenes look at Cabin-Time’s latest outing, as well as artist-designed custom Z/1 Classic sandals, are now available at Chacos.com/cabintime.

“Cabin-Time provides an opportunity for creative experimentation, adventures in landscape, and forever friendships,” said Geoffrey Holstad, co-founder and director of Cabin-Time. “To date, Cabin-Time has hosted over a hundred international creatives, off-grid, on eight different residencies around the United States.”

The most recent Cabin-Time residency, CT8, took place in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where featured artists each designed their own pair of sandals through Chaco’s custom sandal program, MyChacos. Chaco customers can choose from several of the artists’ design recipes and purchase their exact creation, or further customize to create their own one-of-a-kind pair.

All MyChacos sandals are made in USA and deliver within ten days.

Cabin-Time will showcase artwork from CT8 at The Garage Door Galley on the Sierra Nevada College campus in Incline Village, Nevada from October 5 – November 17, 2017.
