Balancing business and goodness, Ecōths continues dedication to Fair Trade and supporting food
Reno, NV – June 11, 2019 – In the five years since its launch, sustainable men’s clothing brand Ecōths has donated over 400,000 meals across the United States through its 3 Campaign. On a continued mission to find the balance between business and goodness, Ecōths uses organic cotton or other sustainable fibers in all of its styles. Taking their mission a step further, the brand also produces over 70% of its styles in Fair Trade Certified™ factories and donates a minimum of three meals for every style purchased.
New for Spring 2020, Ecōths has expanded their bottoms collection to include a wider offering of short and pant styles for spring, including organic cotton classics like the Gavron ($72) and Butler Short ($69), recycled polyester and hemp blends for travel and quick drying styles for trail to town. Based off the popular Dixon Short made with a blend of hemp and recycled polyester, the Dixon Pant ($79) has a linen-like feel and look, without the typical wrinkling and stretching out after a day of travel. Another new addition to Ecōths bottoms options is the Fair Trade Certified Griffith Pant ($89), a recycled polyester blended style that is lightweight, is quick-drying and has zip back pockets for added security when traveling or hiking the local trail.
Also, new for Spring 2020, Ecōths is introducing a line of Fair Trade Certified graphic tees. Made of an organic cotton and recycled polyester blend, these tees draw inspiration from Ecōths home in the Sierra Nevada mountains and its message of “Eco is our Ethos”. The collection also continues Ecōths’ dedication to their signature button-ups and ¼ zips. Perfect for travel, the Fair Trade Certified Hemsworth SS ($75) is an organic cotton button-up with hidden breathable vertical vents on the back to keep cool and dry, and a zippered chest pocket to keep important items secure. For those looking for lightweight sun and wind protection, the Fair Trade Certified Franco ¼ Zip is a recycled polyester blend pullover that has two front zip pockets, elastic cuffs and a drawcord at the waist. The Ledger SS has a great eco-story with its blend of recycled cotton and recycled polyester, which also gives it an incredibly soft broken-in look and feel.
“This Spring ’20 collection continues Ecōths’ commitment to combinind a rugged and lived-in feel with natural and rich earth colors,” said Tom Williamson, Ecōths VP of Sales and Marketing. “However, new offerings such the Fair Trade Certified graphic tees add a fun and playful flair to a mix of old favorites and new looks.”
