December 7, 2017
Plush fleeces, wool sweaters and versatile athleisure pieces for living the Aventura Life
Reno, NV – December 7, 2017 – Acknowledging the need to escape the everyday, Aventura Clothing’s Fall ’18 collection is a line of comfy, cozy, versatile styles designed to accommodate life on and off the grid. Highlights from the collection include tunics, flowy cardigans, plush fleece jackets and leggings with patterns and colors inspired by living a life outdoors. Continuing their commitment to sustainable manufacturing, Aventura will produce 25% of the collection in Fair Trade Certified™ factories.
In addition to their everyday collection, Aventura’s Adira athleisure line will expand to include technical fabrics that provide moisture management in their tops and bottoms, as well as warmth and movement for cold weather activities. To meet an ever-increasing need from retailers, Aventura’s Plus Size collection, which debuts in Spring ’18, is growing to almost 50 new styles and sleepwear separates.
The Fair Trade Certified™ organic cotton Riley Sweater ($97, $105 for Plus Size) blends together chunky ribbing and slub yarn for a sweater that appears to be a heavy winter option, but is light enough to wear to the office and throughout the fall. Snuggle up this winter in the merino wool, Fair Trade Certified™ Essex Sweater ($115). This long cardigan uses strategically placed stripes for a flattering look best paired with leggings or jeans, and includes pockets and fleck details throughout the fabric. For Aventura’s customers who have requested the unique Handy Cloth detail found in its brother line, Ecōths, the brand created the Fair Trade Certified™ Annie LS ($77, $82 for Plus Size) and Mara LS ($85). These super soft and supple flannel shirts include the Handy Cloth, a microfiber cleaning cloth built into the front placket for cleaning phone screens, glasses and camera lenses easily. Outdoor adventurers rejoice with the super plush fleece Cheyenne Shirt Jac ($115). Button front closure and a jersey lined interior and pockets make this overshirt warm, comfy and one that will be on constant repeat all winter long.
Adira, Aventura’s athleisure line, is designed to take a woman to and from workouts seamlessly and is perfect for warming up slope side après ski. Take the easy feeling of Shavasana off the mat in the super soft Anya Wrap Cardi ($89, $95 for Plus Size). This lightweight sweater touts feminine details like a fringed front panel, asymmetrical hemline and shawl collar that can be worn closed with a single button closure at the shoulder or left open. Stave off the winter’s chill in the hip, poly-filled Killian Vest ($87). Combining ripstop nylon with a fun circle pattern and knit ponte fabric side panels for stretch, the Killian Vest is functional and fabulous. It also includes a stand-up collar for comfort and on-seam pockets. Other key pieces in the line include the Shakti Legging ($89) and the Zahara Solid Hoodie ($89, $98 for Plus Size), both made with wicking polyester fibers, making them ideal transitional pieces from home to the trail or gym. With a distinctive honeycomb all-over pattern, side hip pockets that fit a cell phone or keys and a back zippered security pocket, the Shakti Legging has a soft brushed interior, making it comfortable enough for yoga and lounging with friends. The Zahara Solid Hoodie has back ruching, thumbhole cuffs and a front kangaroo pocket for a look that’s flattering and comfortable for all shapes and sizes.
