Gerber Launches First Customizable Multi-tool – Custom Center-Drive

Gerber's flagship bestselling multi-tool is now fully customizable, with an industry-first tool pack customization option

PORTLAND, Ore. (November 1, 2022) – Gerber Gear, the industry-leading brand of knives, multi-tools and gear, has unveiled the addition of the Center-Drive multi-tool to the Gerber Custom program. Built on the concept of delivering uncompromising functionality and full-sized tools, the field-tested Center-Drive is now fully customizable.

The Custom Center-Drive will offer consumers nine unique color options and a plethora of unique laser engravings to create a truly personalized tool. In addition to the limitless creative options, builders will be able to choose from four different tool packs to suit their daily life and accomplish the tasks they most often face.

The availability of different tool pack options is a multi-tool industry first, giving consumers the ability to choose from the classic Center-Drive tool pack or the updated Center-Drive Plus tool pack in either satin or black finishes.

Featuring 14 functions, including the revolutionary center-axis screwdriver, the Center-Drive has been put to the test by everyone from weekend hobbyists to professional tradesmen and has become Gerber’s bestselling multi-tool.

All items ordered from Gerber Custom are manufactured and assembled in Portland, OR by Gerber’s long-tenured knife and tool craftsmen and women. The Center-Drive Custom will start at $155 + $10 customization fee and include the Center-Drive multi-tool, an interchangeable bit set and a sheath.
